Job summary

Omniactive Health Technologies is seeking a Production professional to manage daily and monthly production plans across 3P and in-house sites. The role requires effective manpower utilization, on-site monitoring, and SAP-based production data entry to ensure timely, compliant output.

The ideal candidate will have 4–8 years of experience in manufacturing, strong knowledge of GMP regulations, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to drive efficient production and cost control.

Qualifications

Education required as listed: B.Pharma/ M. Pharma / B.Sc/ M.Sc/ BE chemical / Diploma Eng.
Experience: 4-8 years in production/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Execute daily and monthly production plan with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.
Ensure manpower allocation and optimal utilization.
Monitor 3P operations and provide on-site support.
Handle SAP entries for in-house and 3P production.
Prepare SAP BOMs and recipes for sites.
Raise RM requirements for 3P sites and coordinate with warehouse/SCM.
Coordinate with Warehouse, QA, QC, Planning, SAP IT, and SCM for smooth operations.
Execute and monitor tech transfer of products.
Review batch manufacturing records and ensure GMP compliance.
Maintain RM and consumables inventory.
Provide SOP, GMP, and safety training to the team.
Prepare and maintain production MIS reports for 3P sites.
Keep production area clean and compliant with GMP, safety and regulatory standards.
Ensure SOPs, BMR, BPR, change control, deviations, and investigations are up-to-date.
Monitor material usage and operating expenses to control costs.
Support cost reduction and budgeting processes.
Maintain manpower discipline and hygiene on the shop floor.
Support yearly budgeting (Capex/Opex).
Accept additional tasks from Production Manager.

Direct Reporting: Sr. Expert-Production

Job Purpose and Scope

Responsible for managing production-related activities to ensure timely and quality product delivery as per agreed norms

Key Accountabilities

To execute daily and monthly production plan in coordination with cross-functional departments to ensure on-time product delivery of 3P sites.
Ensure proper manpower allocation and their effective utilisation
Do on-site monitoring and provide necessary support for 3P operations.
To ensure online production SAP entries of in-house and 3P production.
To prepare SAP BOMs and recipes for in-house and 3P sites.
To put RM requirements for 3P sites based on the monthly plan and coordinate with warehouse and SCM for timely availability of RM
To coordinate with cross-functional departments like Warehouse, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Planning, SAP IT, and SCM to ensure smooth production operation.
To execute and monitor Tech transfer of product.
To review executed batch manufacturing documents and ensure compliance.
To maintain the inventory of RM and consumable items.
Impart training to the team on SOPs, GMP, and safety as per our product requirements.
To prepare and maintain production MIS report including 3P site.
To maintain the production area neat and clean. Ensure the production block complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety and other regulatory requirements.
Ensure production activities are being carried out as per standard operating procedures (SOP) and in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to produce quality product.
Ensure document development and check the SOPs, BMR, BPR, change control, deviation, and investigation.
To monitor and control material usage and operating expenses in order to control product cost & remain within agreed norms.
To support the cost reduction project by controlling and minimising the consumption of consumables. Give inputs during budget estimation.
Ensure manpower discipline and personal hygiene on the production shop floor.
To support yearly budgeting (Capex/Opex).
