Job summary

DP World is seeking an experienced professional to lead warehouse solution design for contract logistics. You will craft layouts, select MHE, and plan resources based on throughput and client needs.

You will also develop costed proposals and detailed documentation to support RFQs, renewals, and proactive pursuits. The role requires strong data-analysis, Excel and CAD capabilities, and collaboration with sales, operations, and procurement to deliver margin‑aligned solutions.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in a related field (supply chain, logistics, engineering).
• 7–15 years of experience in contract logistics or warehousing solution design.
• Experience designing solutions for FMCG, FMCD, Retail or E‑commerce clients.
• Strong skills in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and warehouse design tools.
• High attention to detail, ability to meet tight timelines, and strong commercial acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple solutioning priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design warehouse layouts, MHE deployment, automation fitment, and resource planning based on customer requirements and throughput data.
• Prepare cost-effective and executable solutions for RFQs, renewals, and proactive proposals.
• Create detailed solution documentation including flowcharts, SLAs, SOPs, cost build-ups, and commercial inputs.
• Ensure alignment with operational feasibility and profitability benchmarks.
• Analyse historical volume and transaction data to size operations and define resource plans.
• Use tools for space utilization, slotting, and productivity estimation to build optimized solutions.
• Develop internal benchmarks to support design and pricing decisions.
• Participate in customer discussions, whiteboarding sessions, and solution workshops to translate needs into viable solutions.
• Present solutions to internal and external stakeholders as required.
• Work with sales, pricing, operations, automation, and procurement teams to build viable and margin-aligned solutions.
• Support handover to implementation teams post-win.
• Contribute to improved solution win rates by tracking solution performance and conversion.
• Maintain documentation and reusable elements to support future solutioning.
• Stay agile and flexible to work across different projects and segments based on business priorities.
