Qualifications

• Define, deliver and lead category management of strategic expenditure.
• Strategically manage supplier selection and spend optimization.
• Lead commercial, legal, and service level negotiations of contracts, renewals and disputes.

Overview

The role is responsible for overseeing contract management, financial forecasting, and supplier relationships to ensure value for money, compliance, and efficient service delivery, while supporting facilities management operations and driving continuous improvement.

How you'll make an impact

Responsibilities:

Primarily focused on defining, delivering and leading category management of strategic expenditure while providing support and leadership across other areas of procurement. To strategically manage and optimize procurement influence in the selection and management of suppliers, while meeting business requirements at overall best value and minimized risk. Key accountabilities include:

• Influencing business unit strategy for the procurement of appropriate goods and services
• Working with counterparts to seek to optimize spend and seek opportunities for synergy across the Company
• Ensuring the compliance with the prevailing environmental and CSR management.
• Responsibilities may also include leading the commercial, legal and service level negotiations of contracts, renewals and disputes
• Oversight of the evaluation and continued management of suppliers, and leading, managing and supporting strategic projects and category initiatives.

About you

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 7 years related experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and Access.

Preferred:

• Experience gained from working in financial services and in particular Insurance is desirable.
• Strong administrative and analytical skills.
