Job summary

Gallagher in India is seeking a skilled financial operations professional with a track record in reconciliation and settlements to support global teams. You will manage exceptions to financial transactions, act as SME, and handle complex tasks within a structured framework.

This role offers opportunities to contribute to efficiency, compliance, and innovation while collaborating with colleagues across functions.

Qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience.
• Ability to work within a large set of rules and handle complex tasks in financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver elements of reconciliation and settlements, and manage exceptions to financial transactions.
• Fix transaction breaks and act as SME in the area of responsibility.
• Complete varied complex/non-standard tasks within the scope of responsibility.
• Understand and act on complex situations and adapt work to business goals.
• Operate with wide latitude for independent decisions and recommendations with potential financial/operational impact.
• Assist junior team members with work related to standard issues/queries.

• Possess working knowledge of one functional area/sub process.
