Job summary

Henkel AG & Co. KGaA is seeking a Process Safety Lead for the Kurkumbh site in Maharashtra to drive Process Safety Management across operations.

You will facilitate risk assessments, lead MoC processes, and embed a strong safety culture while collaborating with operations, engineering, and project teams. The role emphasizes hazard analyses (HAZOP, FMEA, LOPA), KPI reporting, incident investigations, and compliance with Henkel Process Safety requirements and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Process Safety Management activities across manufacturing plants at the Kurkumbh site.
• Facilitate and conduct process hazard analyses including HAZOP, PHA, LOPA, FMEA, and other risk assessment studies.
• Identify high-risk processes and drive mitigation plans through collaboration with operations, engineering, and project teams.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve site-specific process safety systems and procedures.
• Manage Process Safety KPI reporting, trend analysis, and improvement initiatives.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Drive Management of Change (MoC) processes and ensure process safety considerations are integrated into project design and execution.
• Lead process safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Coach, train, and influence site teams to strengthen process safety awareness and culture.
• Partner with business leaders to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and Henkel Process Safety requirements.

About this PositionIn this role, you will be responsible for driving Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives, facilitating risk assessments, ensuring compliance with global and local safety standards, and embedding a strong process safety culture across multiple manufacturing plants.
