Job summary

Konark Fixtures in Mumbai is seeking a Production Planning & Scheduling professional to develop master production schedules (MPS) based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory trends. You will coordinate with Production, QC, Procurement and Sales to align capacity with market demand, optimize plant resources, and monitor the end-to-end supply chain from raw material to final dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop comprehensive master production schedules (MPS) based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory trends.
• Inventory Management: Monitor raw material (herbs/chemicals), packaging material, and finished goods inventory to prevent stockouts while minimizing holding costs.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Production, Quality Control (QC), Procurement, and Sales teams to align output capabilities with market demands.
• Resource Optimization: Ensure efficient utilization of plant machinery, manpower, and manufacturing resources at our production facility.
• Supply Chain Monitoring: Track order execution from raw material procurement to final dispatch, ensuring compliance with delivery timelines.
• Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the production cycle and implement lean manufacturing or ERP-driven improvements to boost operational efficiency.
• Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation aligned with GMP and ISO standards and generate routine PPIC performance metrics (KPIs) for management review.
