Job summary

PeopleStrong in India is seeking a BE graduate to manage procurement expediting for outsourced manufacturing.

You will decide on L1 vendors for PO placement, develop new vendors for PP manufacturing of coil, pipe, panel, and coordinate with QC, stores, logistics, and planning.

Responsibilities include ensuring timely PO preparation, material movement, Kaizen and 5S initiatives, and timely quality inspection.

Qualifications

• BE graduates with procurement exposure.
• Experience in supplier/vendor management.
• Knowledge of manufacturing outsourcing.

• Develop and train team for improvement in pressure part manufacturing outsource processes.
• Coordination with other departments like QC, F&A, Stores, Logistics, Planning, inventory control.
• Expediting
• Material Accounting/Reconciliation for Outsource items where raw material is free issue from LMB.
• Follow up transportation and timely quality inspection.
• Troubleshooting and decision making
• Driving Kaizen, 5 S initiative among team and vendor
