Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an Outsourcing Service & Contracts Engineer to manage vendor development, negotiate with suppliers, and coordinate with QA, Stores, Logistics, and Planning. The role focuses on expediting outsource manufacturing, GST compliance, and material movement for manufacturing.

You will liaise with OSD leads and QTS, prepare POs, and build a strong supplier base while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5–7 years experience in outsourcing procurement.
• Knowledge of ERP and MS Office.
• Experience in vendor development and GST compliance.

Responsibilities

• Initiate purchasing actions based on requirements.
• Negotiate with vendors for quotes and final offers.
• Prepare purchase orders after OSD/QTS decisions.
• Register vendors and manage supplier base.
• Expedite orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with QC, Stores, Logistics, Planning.

Role Detail: As Outsourcing and Subcontracting Buyer

• To initiate action for purchasing based on requirement.
• To discuss and influence for receiving commercial offer.
• To prepare Purchase orders based on final decision from OSD lead and QTS.
• To perform Vendor Registration Process.
• To initiate action for purchasing based on requirement.
