Job summary

Talent Analytica is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to lead CPP project planning, scheduling, and operations & maintenance. The role involves coordinating with designers, consultants, and contractors to ensure correct specifications, vendor alignment, and timely delivery of project milestones.

The candidate will supervise project teams, manage scope changes, monitor performance, and drive cost-efficient solutions while maintaining thorough project documentation.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate must be Full Time First Class B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 12-16 years of CPP Project and Operation & Maintenance.
• Experience in project and maintenance planning, scheduling and execution.
• Ability to interact with designers, consultants, vendors and contractors.

Job description

Project preconstruction preparation

• Preparing delivery schedule
• Preparing a preliminary construction schedule
• Project site preparation to start site activities

Ensure Correctness of specifications of all items as a part of basic design, selection of boiler and TG as per progressive need of site and optimized operational cost

• Actively interacts with designer and engineering consultants during the design and planning stage to correctly specify all equipments material
• Verify the designs provided by the detailed engineering consultants and effectively transfer the requirements to purchase in case of new items and contractors for execution.
• Verify piping specs and make sure that it is followed

Timely completion of project

• Monitor and supervise project team members and contractors. Influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Take corrective action (if required).
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and line managers in a timely and clear fashion
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, ensure that any change to project scope is documented and approved
• Ensuring that all project documentation is stored on share point for future reference

Maximum Up time of plant

• To ensure establishment of maintenance system and effective monitoring.
• To ensure implementation of preventive maintenance techniques for effective and safe maintenance.
• To ensure detailed analysis of any break down and counter measures taken to avoid repetition.
• To ensure the inventory of critical spares.

Control expenses of R & M and Capex

• To review and take decisions on expenses.
• To facilitate effective planning of spares
• To interact with various vendors for cost effective solutions and to develop indigenous vendors for imported items.
