Adani Natural Resources seeks an experienced CAPEX Project Lead to independently steer brownfield, debottlenecking and technology upgrade projects in the Copper Complex. You will own the full lifecycle from concept through commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget objectives.
Responsibilities include planning end-to-end execution, coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover teams, and driving value engineering and cost optimization
To independently lead and deliver assigned CAPEX, brownfield, debottlenecking, reliability improvement, technology upgrade, infrastructure, and sustaining projects within the allocated discipline package. The role is accountable for managing the complete project lifecycle from conceptualization through commissioning while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.
Lead end-to-end execution of assigned discipline-specific project packages. Develop project execution plans, schedules, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies. Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities. Track project milestones and ensure timely completion within approved timeline.
Review engineering deliverables, technical specifications, drawings, layouts, and design changes. Ensure compliance with plant standards, statutory requirements, and engineering best practices. Support technical evaluations and selection of equipment, systems, and contractors. Drive value engineering, productivity improvements, and cost optimization initiatives.
Manage EPC, EPMC, PMC consultants, OEMs, contractors, and service providers. Evaluate contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Verify progress, certification, and completion of assigned work packages. Resolve technical and execution issues impacting project delivery.
Monitor approved CAPEX budgets and expenditure. Review project estimates, BOQs, variation orders, and change requests. Ensure optimum utilization of resources and project funds. Drive cost control without compromising safety and quality requirements.
Monitor site execution activities and ensure construction quality. Coordinate construction readiness reviews and pre-commissioning activities. Lead commissioning, performance testing, system integration, and plant handover. Ensure smooth transition of completed projects to Operations and Maintenance team.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies, process safety requirements, and statutory regulation. Conduct risk assessments and contractor safety reviews. Promote safe work practices and zero-incident project execution. Ensure quality assurance and quality control standards are maintained throughout the project life cycle.
Coordinate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, Finance, ESG, Commercial, and Safety teams. Present project progress, risks, and mitigation plans to management. Interface with technology licensors, consultants, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders.
Support plant modernization, automation, digitization, and reliability enhancement projects. Capture lessons learned and implement best practices in future projects. Contribute to long-term asset improvement and expansion strategies.
