Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in Chennai seeks an Engineer to manage basic pricing for serviceable parts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure launch readiness and timely pricing updates.

You will handle pricing for M6, M4 and M2 project-specific parts, respond to supplier quotations, and support aftermarket launch activities across domestic and international markets. BE or Diploma holders with strong parts management knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• BE/Diploma required.
• Strong knowledge of Spare Parts Management Functions including serviceable parts identification and cataloging.
• Experience with pricing, procurement readiness and aftermarket support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with cross functional teams to establish and update basic pricing for serviceable parts.
• Carry out basic parts pricing for project-specific parts (M6, M4, M2).
• Handle field escalations related to FI, OHSD and Part Infoline.
• Manage Engineering Changes and PAB running changes for Domestic and IO markets.
• Prepare commodity-wise Serviceable Parts Lists and circulate to CFTs.
• Conduct periodic reviews with PPH and PPL to obtain supplier quotations.
• Provide technical clarification to ensure complete quotations.
• Review pricing progress and ensure timely updates in the system.

Job description

Ensure timely and accurate completion of Basic Pricing for all serviceable parts to enable spare parts procurement, dealer ordering readiness, and seamless after-sales support for all new vehicle launches across domestic and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with cross functional teams including Parts Engineering, PPL, PSL, SBU, Suppliers, ADCC, PMH and PFH to establish and update basic pricing for serviceable parts.
• Carry out basic parts pricing for:
• M6, M4 and M2 project-specific peculiar parts.
• Field escalations related to FI, OHSD and Part Infoline.
• Engineering Changes (EN) and Product Action Bulletin (PAB) running change parts for both Domestic and IO markets.
• Prepare commodity-wise Serviceable Parts Lists and circulate them to relevant CFTs for initiation and completion of basic pricing activities.
• Conduct periodic reviews and discussions with PPH and PPL teams to obtain supplier quotations required for pricing activities.
• Provide technical clarification and support to PPH, PPL and suppliers to ensure receipt of complete and accurate quotations.
• Regularly review pricing progress with PPL, PSL, SBU, Suppliers, ADCC, PMH and PFH and ensure timely updating and completion of basic pricing in the system.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of Spare Parts Management Functions, including serviceable parts identification, parts cataloging, pricing processes, procurement readiness, and aftermarket support.
• Ability to identify and understand vehicle spare parts, their applications, serviceability requirements, BOM linkage, and launch readiness requirements.
• Good understanding of new product launch processes, IDK/IWK parts management, DMS requirements, and spare parts procurement workflows.
