Manager - Spares Planning

Job summary

Mahindra Group in India is seeking a senior SCM professional with 10–13 years in automotive supply chain, PPC and SBU roles to lead spares planning, coordination with plants, and material planning for VOR/BO parts.

You will monitor delivery performance, resolve part shortages, and guide junior staff while aligning with sourcing teams and plant SPOCs to ensure timely supplies and end-of-life part management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/MTech/Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile disciplines.
• MBA in Supply Chain Management or Materials Management preferred.
• Experience in SCM, PPC, SBU in Automobile Industry.

Responsibilities

• Spares planning and coordination with all AD Plants for timely supplies of VOR/MTO/Month plan against SPD requirement.
• Non-current models spares parts planning and execution (One time/MOQ/Monthly schedule) for VOR/BO parts are critical.
• Stock norm coordination of child parts with Sourcing/DP Team.
• Concern resolution with SBU Sourcing for Old Non-current / Alternate Parts.
• Timely adherence to Customer concerns raised by SBU/SPD.
• Provide ETA for part in consultation with Plant SPOC / SCM/ PPC.
• Monitor Delivery Performance of Plants with MIS.
• Guide and support Subordinate for the above activities.
• Proactively engage SBU Sourcing for End-of-Life Part supply in consultation with Plant SPOC/Plant SCM Heads.

• Proactively take up with SBU Sourcing for supplies of End-of-Life Part supply in consultation with Plant SPOC/Plant SCM Heads.
