About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Manager - Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to lead Accounts Receivable (A/R) Collections operations within the US Healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, strong operational leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of driving collection performance and client satisfaction.
This role will be responsible for managing assigned client accounts, improving A/R outcomes, ensuring operational excellence, and serving as the primary liaison between clients and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking, analytical skills, and hands-on operational experience to deliver measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
Account & Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts and build strong, long-term client relationships.
- Understand client objectives, business challenges, and performance expectations.
- Conduct regular business reviews, operational updates, and performance discussions with clients.
- Identify opportunities for account growth, process optimization, and service enhancement.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
Revenue Cycle & A/R Management
- Lead Accounts Receivable (A/R) Collection operations for US Healthcare clients.
- Drive improvements in collection rates, cash recovery, aging reduction, and overall A/R performance.
- Monitor and manage key RCM metrics including:
- Collection Effectiveness Index (CEI)
- Days in A/R
- Aging Buckets
- Denial Rates
- Resolution Turnaround Time
- Productivity and Quality Metrics
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce outstanding receivables and accelerate cash flow.
- Analyze account trends and recommend corrective actions to improve outcomes.
Performance & Analytics
- Review operational dashboards and analyze performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance reports.
- Develop action plans to address performance gaps and achieve client goals.
- Utilize data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with clients, leadership teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful account delivery.
- Facilitate governance meetings and business review sessions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on RCM best practices and industry trends.
- Support new client onboarding, transitions, and account expansion initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 10-12 years of experience in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, with significant exposure to Accounts Receivable Collections.
- Proven experience managing client-facing accounts within a healthcare BPO, RCM organization, or healthcare services environment.
