Qualifications

• : Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; healthcare/management qualification preferred.
• : 5–10 years of experience in US Healthcare RCM / Medical Billing, with leadership experience.
• : Strong understanding of the complete RCM lifecycle and billing operations.
• : Knowledge of HIPAA and US healthcare billing practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations including charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, AR follow-up, denial management and patient billing.
• Ensure claims are submitted accurately within defined turnaround times and monitor billing accuracy and trends.
• Lead, coach and develop billing/RCM teams; set KPIs and conduct performance reviews.
• Prepare and present operational reports, dashboards, and performance updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Use data to identify process improvements and revenue opportunities and present action plans to senior management.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager Billing & Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to lead and manage end-to-end billing and revenue cycle operations. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing, improving collections, monitoring operational performance, and leading a high-performing RCM team.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of US Healthcare RCM, medical billing, claims processing, payment posting, and revenue optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & RCM Operations

• Manage end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations, including charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, AR follow-up, denial management, and patient/customer billing.
• Ensure claims are submitted accurately and within defined turnaround times.
• Monitor billing accuracy, claim acceptance, rejection, and payment trends.
• Identify process gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with client-specific SOPs, payer guidelines, and internal policies.

Team Management

• Lead, coach, and develop billing/RCM teams.
• Manage team productivity, quality, attendance, and performance.
• Set individual and team-level KPIs and ensure achievement of targets.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, team meetings, and feedback sessions.
• Identify training requirements and facilitate employee development.
• Build a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Manage day-to-day communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and present operational reports, dashboards, and performance updates.
• Participate in client calls and business reviews.
• Address escalations and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure SLA/KPI compliance.

Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare and analyze reports related to:
  • Payment posting
  • Productivity
  • Quality
  • Account resolution
  • Claim turnaround time
• Use data and trends to identify process improvement and revenue enhancement opportunities.
• Present insights and action plans to senior management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; healthcare/management qualification preferred.
• 510 years of experience in US Healthcare RCM / Medical Billing, with relevant leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of the complete RCM lifecycle.
• Experience in claims, payment posting, and billing operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and reporting/analytics.
• Ability to manage teams and work effectively under deadlines.
• Experience with RCM software, EHR/EMR, clearinghouses, and payer portals is preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and US healthcare billing practices is preferred.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on RCM leader who can manage people as well as operations, understand billing and collection metrics, identify the root cause of revenue leakage, and work with clients and internal teams to consistently improve financial performance.
