Job summary

Graphic Era in Dehradun invites an experienced Emergency Department Operations Lead to manage day-to-day ED activities during the assigned shift. You will coordinate with doctors, nursing, diagnostics, billing, ICU, OT and wards, monitor patient flow, bed availability, admissions, transfers and discharges, and ensure compliance with NABH standards and infection-control protocols.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department during the assigned shift.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing, diagnostics, billing, ICU, OT, wards, security, and support departments.
• Monitor patient flow, bed availability, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Coordinate and escape critical/emergency cases, trauma, MLC, and mass casualty situations.
• Address patient/attendant concerns and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with hospital SOPs, NABH standards, patient safety, and infection-control protocols.
• Maintain shift reports and ensure proper handover between shifts.
