Job summary

Rungta Hospital in Jaipur seeks a Medical Operations Manager to oversee daily hospital operations, coordinate between doctors, nursing, diagnostics, pharmacy, and support services, and monitor patient flow, admissions, discharges, and service delivery.

You will drive regulatory compliance, NABH standards, and documentation; lead quality and patient safety initiatives; manage resources, staffing, and scheduling; monitor KPIs, incidents, and corrective actions; and contribute to disaster planning

Responsibilities

• Oversee Daily Hospital Operations: Ensure smooth functioning of all clinical and non-clinical departments.
• Monitor patient flow, admissions, discharges, and service delivery.
• Coordinate Between Departments: Facilitate effective communication among doctors, nursing staff, diagnostics, pharmacy, and support services.
• Resolve operational issues and ensure seamless patient care.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Monitor adherence to hospital policies, healthcare regulations, NABH standards, and legal requirements.
• Maintain operational documentation and records.
• Quality and Patient Safety Management: Implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor patient safety indicators, incident reports, and corrective actions.
• Resource and Manpower Management: Optimize utilization of staff, equipment, beds, and other hospital resources.
• Coordinate staffing requirements and operational scheduling.
• Performance Monitoring: Track departmental KPIs, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction scores.
• Prepare operational reports for management review.
• Emergency and Crisis Management: Coordinate emergency response activities and ensure preparedness for critical situations.
• Support disaster management and contingency planning.
• Process Improvement: Identify operational gaps and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and patient experience.
• Budget and Cost Control: Assist in managing operational budgets and controlling departmental expenses.
• Monitor resource utilization to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Support Strategic Initiatives: Participate in hospital expansion, accreditation, technology implementation, and other organizational projects.
