Qualifications

Responsibilities

Take over from the previous manager on duty and report.
Meet and greet every patient with a smile.
Conduct daily rounds across the hospital in detail.
Collect data in prescribed formats and report to authority.
Oversee staff in each unit and ensure staffing levels.
Improve efficiency and ensure quality of patient care.
Coordinate with VIP guests and major corporate clients on arrival.
Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Oversee finances such as patient fees and billing.
Audit departments and report findings to the authority.

Job Purpose:

Duty Managers typicallyhandle the customer service and support service also some management concernsof an organization. These managers are responsible for smooth functioningofall the departments and ensure policies and protocols are being followed in theprescribed manner. Also, in addition to this they have to ensure safetyprocedures of the premise.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Taking report from previous manager onduty.
To meet and greet every patient withsmile.
To take daily rounds of the hospital;this round should be in detail covering every area of the hospital.
To collect all data in prescribedformat and submit the report to reporting authority.
To take hospital rounds and collect reportof all staff deployed in each unit.
To improve the efficiency of care andensure quality of patient care deliverables.
Meet and greet VIP Guests and majorcorporate clients upon arrival.
To ensure optimum head count of staffin every department.
To identify and plan training sessionsof all staff.
To have close liaison with all theconsultants.
To represent the organization in frontof any governing bodies authority.
To ensure the facility’s compliancewith laws and regulations.
To oversee finances such as patientfees and billing.
Work with management to assess andimprove processes and policies
Check in with employees regularly todetermine satisfaction.
Maintain open lines of communicationbetween all departments.
To perform audits in any department andreport the findings to the reporting authority.
To check various departmental registersand records and ensuring adherence of the same.
To coordinate with departmentalrepresentatives in case of any discrepancies and follow up until the issue issorted out
