Job summary

Bptp in Gurugram is seeking a Manager - MEP to lead end-to-end planning, execution, commissioning and handover of all MEP systems across real estate projects. You will ensure compliance with designs, codes, standards, timelines and budgets while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities include review of procurement plans, on-site installation, ITPs, FAT, design coordination with civil/architectural teams, testing and handover documentation, and continuous improvement of energy

Role & responsibilities :


Manager - MEP is responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, coordination, commissioning and handover of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, HVAC and allied systems across real estate projects. The role ensures compliance with approved designs, statutory norms, quality standards, timelines and cost objectives while enabling seamless coordination between multiple stakeholders.


1. MEP Execution & Project Delivery
  • Review and validate MEP material procurement plans and ensure timely availability in line with construction schedules.
  • Oversee on-site installation of all MEP systems to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, codes and standards.
  • Review, approve and monitor method statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), execution sequencing and work methodologies submitted by MEP contractors.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to track progress, quality, safety and compliance during execution.
  • Visit vendor/manufacturer facilities for intermediate manufacturing milestones, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and quality checks as per approved ITPs.

2. Design Compliance & Coordination
  • Ensure strict adherence to approved MEP designs, design intent and performance parameters during execution.
  • Drive effective coordination between MEP trades and other disciplines (civil, structural, architectural, faade, interiors) to identify and resolve clashes during design and execution stages.
  • Participate in coordination meetings to address interface issues, design clarifications and execution constraints.

3. Testing, Commissioning & Quality Assurance
  • Plan and oversee testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities for all MEP systems.
  • Ensuring system performance meets design criteria, statutory requirements, and operational benchmarks.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning phases in coordination with contractors and consultants.

4. Handover & Post-Completion Support
  • Ensure smooth handover of completed MEP systems to the Maintenance / Facility Management team with complete documentation.
  • Review and close snag lists, punch points and handover checklists prior to project completion.
  • Validate as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties and statutory approvals before final handover

5. Performance Review & Continuous Improvement
  • Review performance of installed MEP systems post-commissioning against design intent and operational efficiency benchmarks.
  • Recommend upgrades, optimization or retrofitting measures to improve energy efficiency, reliability and lifecycle performance.
  • Support value engineering initiatives without compromising quality, safety or statutory compliance.

6. Stakeholder & Contractor Management
  • Manage and evaluate performance of MEP contractors, vendors and consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, timelines, quality standards and safety norms.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and statutory authorities for approvals and inspections.
