Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Deputy Manager - Maintenance to lead daily maintenance operations across our site. The role requires coordinating with production teams, planning shutdowns, and ensuring timely completion of all preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

The ideal candidate will have a BE degree, strong organizational skills, and experience in safety practices. Responsibilities include supervising technicians, documenting work orders, and ensuring adherence to safety

Qualifications

• BE degree is required and relevant to the role.
• Experience in maintenance and equipment upkeep is preferred.
• Ability to conduct SHE trainings and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with production officers to resolve maintenance issues.
• Assign work to technicians and monitor breakdown and planned jobs.
• Document and verify work orders and maintain history records.
• Ensure safe working conditions and environmental compliance.
• Provide SHE training to operators and contract workers.
• Review vendor bills for accuracy and timely payments.
• Act as a core SHE team member when required.
• Report incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions to supervisors.

• To look after day-to-day maintenance of equipment’s condition
• Co-ordination with Production Officers in shift to solve any maintenance problems.
• Delegation of work to workmen as per planning attending to breakdown jobs.
• Documentation of work orders as prescribed.
• Work distribution of work orders as prescribed.
• Ensuring the completion of the breakdown, planned jobs and cross verifying the same.
• Ensure Safe working conditions and clean environmental practices.
• Monitor usages of PPEs, respiratory protection equipment and ensure maintenance & cleanliness.
• Observe unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective & preventive actions immediately.
• Impart SHE training to operators, helpers and contract workers.
• Verification and measurement certification of vendor bills as per ARC/Quotation.
