Job summary

Godrej Industries Group in Gujarat seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to oversee high‑pressure equipment, boilers, HVAC systems and thermic fluid systems at our facility. You will supervise maintenance activities, ensure compliance, and drive energy efficiency.

With 4–6 years of experience and a B.Tech in Mechanical, you will coordinate shutdowns, manage spares procurement, and uphold ISO documentation. This role offers a blend of on‑site work with selective remote options.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 4–6 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• ISO documentation/compliance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of high-Pressure Equipment including compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, reformers, hot oil systems, and other critical utility equipment.
• Management of high- and medium-pressure boilers with compliance.
• Oversee HVAC systems, cooling towers and chilling plants for energy efficiency.
• Oversee thermic fluid systems and ETP equipment maintenance.
• Lead shutdown planning and coordinate with Production and other departments.
• Coordinate with Purchase for spares, chemicals, and consumables procurement to ensure cost optimization.
• Vendor management and AMC services coordination.
• SAP-MM & PM module operations ensuring accurate SAP transactions.
• Maintain ISO documentation for mechanical maintenance.
• Daily maintenance planning and workforce allocation and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance of High-Pressure Equipment Oversee maintenance of high-pressure compressors, blowers, pumps, heat exchangers, reformers, hot oil systems, and other critical utility equipment.
• Boilers and Pressure Systems Manage maintenance activities for high- and medium-pressure boilers and ensure statutory compliance.
• HVAC & Chilling Systems Oversee HVAC systems, including cooling towers and chilling plants, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Thermic Fluid Systems & ETP Equipment Manage thermic fluid system operations and maintenance. Supervise maintenance of ETP equipment and material handling systems.
• Troubleshooting & Shutdown Planning Diagnose mechanical issues across various equipment. Lead shutdown planning for machines and manpower in coordination with Production and other departments.
• Procurement Coordination Coordinate with the Purchase department for spares, chemicals, and consumables procurement. Ensure inventory availability and cost optimization.
• Vendor Management, Coordinate with vendors for breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, AMC services, and vendor capability enhancement.
• SAP-MM & PM Module Operations, ensure accurate and timely transactions in SAP related to maintenance and material management.
• ISO Documentation & Compliance, Maintain and implement ISO documentation requirements for the mechanical maintenance function.
• Daily Maintenance Planning & Resource Management Plan and schedule day-to-day maintenance activities. Manage workforce allocation and ensure effective cross-department coordination
