Job summary

Godrej Industries Group is seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM consultant to configure and support PP/QM in a manufacturing environment. You will work across MM/SD/FICO and S/4HANA, coordinating with production teams to implement solutions and ensure data integrity.

You will also lead trainings, assist with SAP enhancements, upgrades, and UAT testing, driving quality and efficiency across production planning and quality management processes.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and supporting SAP PP and QM modules in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of MRP runs, master data (BOM, routing, work centers) and quality inspection processes.
• Understanding manufacturing processes and integration with MM/SD/FICO.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP PP module including Master Data, Production Orders, Planned Orders, and MRP.
• Configure and maintain SAP QM processes: Inspection Lots, Results Recording, Quality Notifications.
• Ensure integration of PP, QM with MM and SD, and support audits and testing (UAT).
• Coordinate with production teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Conduct user training and prepare documentation; maintain data accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

SAP PP (Production Planning):

• Configure and support SAP PP module including:
• Master Data (BOM, Routing, Work Centers)
• Production Orders, Planned Orders
• MRP (Material Requirement Planning)
• Monitor and improve production planning processes.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth execution of plans.
• Analyze production data and generate reports for decision-making.
• Troubleshoot and resolve PP-related issues.

SAP QM (Quality Management)

• Configure and maintain SAP QM processes:
• Inspection Lots and Results Recording
• Quality Notifications
• Ensure integration of QM with MM (Materials Management) and PP modules.
• Support quality audits and compliance processes.
• Monitor quality metrics and suggest improvements.

Cross-Functional Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions.
• Ensure integration between PP, QM, MM, FICO and SD modules.
• Conduct user training and prepare documentation.
• Support SAP enhancements, upgrades, and testing activities (UAT).
• Maintain system data accuracy and consistency.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP PP and QM modules.
• Experience in:
• MRP Run & Planning Strategies
• Batch Management (preferred)
• Quality Inspection Processes
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.
• SAP certification in PP/QM (preferred).
• Experience in S/4HANA environment (added advantage).
• Knowledge of integration with MM/SD modules.
