Job summary

BAJAJ AUTO seeks BE/B.Tech Electrical/Electronic graduates for roles in Driver Information Systems, Instrument clusters and Telematics units within the automotive domain. The role spans hardware and software interfaces and requires knowledge of device lifecycles and interfaces with engine/vehicle components.

Candidates should have 3–8 years of related experience, with exposure to EMC/EMI, CAN, DFMEA/PFMEA, cost estimation for parts and tooling, and PLM/SAP.

Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech Electrical / Electronic Engg from reputed University / Institute.
• 3–8 years of experience in automotive domain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Component development of Driver Information Systems / Instrument clusters, Telematics unit.
• Knowledge of complete life cycle of development of Instrument clusters and Fuel level sensors used in 2Wh and automotive domain and its interface with engine/vehicle components.
• Understanding of EMC/EMI impacts on components / system.
• Understanding of CAN standards.
• Electronic component sourcing and pricing.
• Knowledge of domestic / global trends in relevant technology, regulations and develop long term road maps and appropriate work plan
• Benchmarking and generation of ideas for better performance, quality, cost, weight.
• Knowledge and practice of DFMEA, PFMEA.
• Cost estimation and negotiation, settlement for part and tooling / fixture cost and supply chain management, PPAP, Supplier Audits, production ramp up.
• Knowledge of electronic components and its pricing
• Knowledge of quality systems, project management for component development, PPAP.
• Knowledge of testing of components, Homologation- AIS- ECE testing, RF certifications.
• Knowledge of Bluetooth connectivity, wifi, ethernet connectivity, phone APP connectivity
• Knowledge of ESIM- LTE data connectivity, cloud communication, GNSS.
• Team-center Engineering or PLM system
