Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Leader for our automotive manufacturing plant in Maharashtra. You will oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, driving reliability and uptime across critical plant equipment and utilities.

With 15–20 years of maintenance experience, you will develop schedules, monitor performance, and lead root-cause analyses while planning manpower to maximize productivity in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech degree required.
• 15–20 years of relevant experience in maintenance.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.

Job description

• Lead and manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for TCF equipment and utilities.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Monitor critical equipment performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely troubleshooting and root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Manage manpower planning, shift deployment, and workforce productivity.

Budget & Cost Control

• Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget.
• Monitor maintenance expenses and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
• Optimize spare parts inventory and control maintenance costs without impacting reliability.
• Evaluate and justify capital expenditure proposals for equipment upgrades and modernization.

Asset Management

• Ensure proper lifecycle management of plant assets and equipment.
• Maintain equipment history, maintenance records, and documentation through CMMS/SAP systems.
• Reporting & Governance

Track and report maintenance KPIs such as:

• Equipment Availability
• OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
• MTBF
• MTTR
• Safety Performance
