Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in India seeks a Deputy Manager for TCF Maintenance in V Block, Chakan. You will drive MTBF improvements through preventive and predictive maintenance on conveyors, robots and utilities to maximise line uptime.

Lead RCA/CAPA activities, implement TPM pillars, manage spare parts and ensure compliance with safety and EHS norms while coordinating with production to avoid takt-time disruption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of general experience in maintenance/engineering within manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maximum equipment uptime (MTBF improvement) across lines through preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Execute and monitor planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules for critical assets such as conveyors, tightening systems, robots, and utilities.
• Lead breakdown maintenance activities, ensuring minimum downtime and quick restoration of production operations.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring equipment failures.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure zero disruption to takt time and line balancing.
• Manage and maintain spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical spares while optimizing cost.
• Implement and sustain TPM pillars, including Autonomous Maintenance and Focused Improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory norms, and EHS requirements during maintenance activities.
