Job summary

You will plan, direct and complete projects, develop staff, and contribute to client management, practice development and business development. Direct supervision over consultants, associates and interns.

Qualifications

• At least six years of valuations experience in a consulting firm or related field.
• Qualified level candidate of CFA, FMVA, CBV, CA, etc.
• Experienced in valuations for financial reporting, including PPA and ESOP/LTIP.
• Strong financial modeling and ability to review complex models.
• Ability to manage engagements and communicate findings clearly.

Job description

As a Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting in all phases of project and engagement management for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries. Responsibilities include planning, directing, and completing projects and services and developing and managing staff. You’ll work closely with senior colleagues and play a key role in client management, practice development and business development. The position will have direct supervision over consultant, associates, and interns.

Job Responsibilities:

• Strong in-depth technical and commercial knowledge of valuation concepts and direct involvement
• Experienced in carrying out and managing valuations for different purposes (M&A transactions, financial reporting, disputes, fundraisings, deal structuring etc.)
• Responsible for leading and managing a high-achieving collaborative team, performing market analysis and researching transactions, industries and financial information
• Planning for engagements including key issues, methodology and budget as well as the ability to work effectively in teams to tight deadlines where required
• Ability to quickly grasp key business drivers and specific valuation issues in the context of the situation and have a commercial mindset
• Preparing or participating in preparing and reviewing complex financial models, and providing clear and concise reporting and commentary on findings with high quality deliverables
• Sharing experience and knowledge, and developing other team members through the deal process
• Understanding the processes involved in a valuation assignment including dealing with risk management processes and procedures
• Ability to project manage effectively internally and externally to ensure effective communication with all relevant stakeholders
• Developing internal and external networks; adopting a business development mindset; and maintaining and strengthening relationships with current and prospective clients of the firm

Education/Skill/Experience:

• At least six years of experience within Valuations in a consulting firm or other related fields
• Qualified level candidate of a professional qualification such as the CFA, FMVA, CBV, CA etc..
• Experienced in performing valuations for financial reporting purposes, particularly Purchase Price Allocations, ESOP/LTIP and other complex valuations based on option pricing techniques.
• Strong financial modeler, experienced in building, reviewing and auditing financial models
• Demonstrates a proven thorough level of abilities and success, as both an individual contributor and team member identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings communicating a broad
• Managing engagements, including preparing concise, accurate documents and maintaining project economics while maintaining flexibility for unanticipated issues
• Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
• A flexible working style and interpersonal skills (lead teams, mentoring and developing staff, confident interacting with clients and management)
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English, Arabic is advantageous
• Ability to thrive in a multi-cultural environment
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft office application.
