Job summary

Parle Agro Pvt Ltd in Mysuru, Karnataka is seeking a logistics-minded Inventory Management professional to oversee stock control across factories and depots. The role focuses on timely replenishment of finished goods and accurate stock reconciliation with SAP.

The candidate will coordinate with HO Logistics to schedule dispatches to depots for various retail channels, and perform monthly physical stock takes to ensure data integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management and depot operations.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP for stock accuracy and reporting.
• Ability to coordinate with HO Logistics for dispatch schedules.
• Monthly physical stock taking and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Establish good inventory control mechanisms across factories and depots.
• Ensure timely replenishment of finished goods at depots.
• Coordinate with HO Logistics for dispatch schedules to depots for retail, institutional, and modern trade.
• Conduct monthly physical stock takes of finished goods.
• Maintain accuracy of physical stock against SAP records.

Job description

Inventory Management

1. Good Inventory Control Mechanism. Optimum inventory of all SKU’s at factories & depots.

2. Timely Stock replenishment of FG at Depots

3. Co Ordinate with HO Logistics for schedules to dispatch FG to respective depots for Retail/Inst & Modern trade.

4 Physical Stock Taking of all Finished goods on monthly basis.

5 Maintaining accuracy of physical stock w.r.to Book Stock against SAP.

Truck Placement

1. Timely Deployment of vehicles to respective destination as per indents.

2. Allocation of vehicles to transporters on unbiased manner & indenting trucks on transporters on the basis of their performance.

3. Primary Freight Management.

4. Explore cost saving techniques.

Audits.

1. CFA / Depot / Super stockist Audits & reviews.

2. Audits to cover all statutory norms / Quality norms and hygiene.

MIS Reports.

1. MIS reports on Stocks , Transport performance, Transport cost Analysis
