Job summary

DJT Microfinance invites an experienced QA Manager to lead QA for core lending and wealth platforms. You will serve as SME for LAP, Bills Discounting, and FDs, ensuring robust testing across multi-stage workflows and regulatory compliance.

You will drive test strategy, automate frameworks, and manage defects with product and engineering teams in a fast-paced FinTech environment.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of software QA experience with fintech focus.
• 3+ years in leadership/management roles within FinTech/Banking/NBFC.
• Experience in LAP, Bills Discounting, and FD domains is preferred.
• CA qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end LAP testing lifecycle including valuation, verification, collateral management and LTV calculations.
• Validate Bills Discounting workflows, discounting rates, maturity tracking and escrow risk modules.
• Ensure accurate processing of agent commissions, funding allocations, FD creation and maturity payouts.
• Lead QA strategy, drive automation adoption, and manage defect triage with product and dev teams.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with KYC/AML and data privacy norms.

Role & responsibilities :

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Manager / Senior Manager to lead our Quality Assurance team for our core lending and wealth management platforms. In this role, you will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for critical financial products, including Loan Against Property (LAP), Funding Agent modules, Bills Discounting/Factoring, and Fixed Deposits (FD).

Core ResponsibilitiesDomain Expertise & Test Strategy

• LAP SME: Own end-to-end testing of the LAP lifecycle, including property valuation workflows, legal/technical verification, collateral management, LTV (Loan-to-Value) calculations, and multi-stage approval workflows.
• Bills Discounting: Validate trade financing workflows, invoice verification, discounting rate calculations, maturity tracking, escrow management, and risk assessment modules.
• Funding Agent & FDs: Ensure accurate processing of agent commissions, payout rules, funding allocations, FD creation, premature withdrawal penalties, compounding interest calculations, and maturity payouts.

QA Leadership & Execution

• Strategy Formulation: Define, implement, and maintain a comprehensive test strategy covering functional, regression, integration, security, and performance testing.
• Automation Leadership: Drive the transition from manual testing to automation. Oversee the development of scalable automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, RestAssured) for API and UI layers.
• Defect Management: Lead triage meetings, prioritize bugs based on business impact, and collaborate closely with Product Managers and Developers to ensure timely resolution.

Compliance, Security & Integration

• Regulatory Compliance: Verify that all workflows comply with local financial regulations, KYC/AML norms, and data privacy laws.
• Third-Party Integrations: Ensure flawless integration with credit bureaus, banking APIs, payment gateways, document verification services, and financial accounting systems.

Required Skills & QualificationsDomain & Technical Skills

• FinTech Domain: Deep, hands-on knowledge of retail lending (LAP), corporate trade finance (Bills Discounting), and liability products (FDs).
• Database Testing: Strong proficiency in SQL for writing complex queries to validate financial transactions, ledger entries, and interest calculations.
• API Testing: Expert knowledge in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
• Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Java/Python and automation frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, or TestNG).

Experience & Leadership

• Experience: 7-12 years of experience in software QA, with at least 3+ years leading/managing teams in a FinTech, Banking, or NBFC environment.
• Agile Methodology: Proven experience working in fast-paced Agile/Scrum development environments.
