Position

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, with a minimum of 5 years of experience, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality products. You will be responsible for leading QA initiatives, designing and executing test strategies, and driving automation efforts. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and effective communication to ensure our software meets the highest standards of reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test strategies that align with business goals and project timelines.
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Utilize and enhance existing automation frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
• Conduct API testing to validate functionality, performance, and security of services and microservices.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and bugs, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and designers, to understand requirements and provide technical feedback.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from initial design to final release, with a focus on Agile methodologies.
• Manage and prioritize QA tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring projects are delivered on time and with high quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on software testing and product quality.
• Mandatory: Experience in the NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) or Digital Lending sector, with a strong understanding of financial products and regulations.
• Mandatory: Proven expertise in API testing, using tools like Postman or similar.
• Mandatory: Extensive automation experience, including designing, building, and maintaining automated test frameworks using tools like Selenium, TestNG, Rest Assured etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

• Lending experience, with a specific focus on testing collections and repayments processes.
• Experience working with external partners or vendors to coordinate testing efforts and ensure seamless integration.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing.
