Job summary

Vianaar Homes is seeking an experienced Manager – IT to oversee IT infrastructure, network security, and technology operations. You will manage network devices, firewall configurations, VPN, IDS/IPS, and security policies while ensuring high availability and seamless end-user support.

This role includes Office 365 administration, CCTV integration, and regular reporting on uptime and security threats. A hands-on leader capable of coordinating with vendors is ideal for this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and configure network devices (firewalls, load balancers, routers, switches, APs), including OS installation, hardening, and upgrades.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and monitor FortiGate and Sophos firewalls (mandatory).
• Implement and manage VPN, IDS/IPS, URL filtering, file blocking, security profiles, and traffic management.
• Review security threat logs for intrusions and vulnerabilities and recommend fixes.
• Monitor network capacity and performance
• Resolve LAN/WAN faults within SLA and provide L2/L3 support, coordinating with vendors.
• Plan and implement network expansions, redundancy, failover, and high availability.
• Oversee remote infrastructure management and regular updates of network hardware.
• Install, configure, and repair desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
• Provide end-user IT support in person and remotely for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Set up user accounts and access while enforcing security protocols.
• Maintain and update antivirus and email security software.
• Administer Office 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Support and maintain CCTV systems and ensure secure network integration.
• Test and implement new technology solutions.
• Maintain network documentation (IP registers, PC IDs, configs, diagrams).
• Prepare monthly reports on uptime, SLA, link utilization, VPN status, and security threats
