Job summary

Studio MYSA seeks an experienced interior designer to lead residential and commercial interior design projects from brief to development. You will understand client requirements, create design concepts, mood boards, layouts and 3D views, and ensure quality and design language across projects.

You will act as the main client contact, conduct meetings, translate expectations into actionable requirements, and build long-term relationships while managing revisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant interior design experience.
• Experience with premium / luxury residential clients.
• Existing network among architects, developers, brokers or HNI clients.
• Experience in design sales or business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential and commercial interior design projects from initial brief through design development.
• Understand client requirements, lifestyle, preferences, budget and functional needs.
• Develop strong design concepts, mood boards, space planning and material palettes.
• Prepare and present design proposals, concepts, layouts, 3D views and material selections.
• Ensure design intent, aesthetics and functionality are maintained throughout the project.
• Work closely with the execution, procurement and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Review drawings, material selections, BOQs and design details wherever required.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors and execution teams.
• Maintain high standards of design quality and Studio MYSA's design language.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients throughout the design journey.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and design discussions independently.
• Understand client expectations and translate them into actionable design requirements.
• Build trust and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Handle feedback, revisions and client concerns professionally.
• Participate in generating and converting new business opportunities for Studio MYSA.
• Conduct initial client discussions and qualification meetings.
• Present Studio MYSA's design philosophy, capabilities, portfolio and approach.
• Prepare and present proposals and commercial offerings in coordination with the Business Head.
• Follow up with prospective clients and move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
• Identify opportunities for additional scope, upgrades and design services within existing projects.
• Generate business through referrals, networking, existing relationships and client relationships.

Preferred candidate profile

• Previous experience in design sales, interior design sales or business development.
