Job summary

EXL is seeking an experienced Manager for Record-to-Report within the Insurance L&A segment. You will oversee month-end closing, journal entries, and reconciliations while driving continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, and claims teams, lead a team of RTR professionals, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting under night shift operations in Kochi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• CA/CPA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years experience in RTR within an insurance organization.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
• Understanding of IFRS 17 and local GAAP.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to lead a team and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
