Job summary

ADVENXA is seeking an experienced AVP to lead the GL Financial Accounting function within the insurance sector. The candidate should show strong leadership, deep expertise in financial accounting, and the ability to manage managers while driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities include overseeing GL operations, month/quarter/year-end closings, and ensuring compliance with IFRS 17 and local GAAP. Night shift work (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM) in Infopark Kochi, with cab pickup/drop provided, 5-days

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in GL financial accounting and RTR in insurance domain.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Senior Manager or AVP in Insurance Accounting Domain.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Commerce; professional certifications preferred.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage managers and drive operational excellence.
• Knowledge of IFRS 17, local GAAP and insurance accounting standards.
• Experience with SAP/Oracle and advanced MS Excel.
