Job summary

EXL is seeking a Manager to head the Record-to-Report function for the Insurance L&A segment. The role covers month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting, working with actuarial, underwriting, and claims teams to ensure timely, accurate financial information.

You will lead a team, drive improvements, ensure regulatory compliance, and present insights to senior management. Strong ERP experience (SAP/Oracle) and Excel proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• CA/CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in RTR within an insurance organization.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Understanding of IFRS 17 and local GAAP.
