Job summary

Shahi Group is seeking an experienced Logistics professional to manage end-to-end transport operations across India. The role covers inbound and outbound logistics, transport planning, and vendor management to ensure on-time, cost-efficient delivery of fabrics, trims, and finished goods.

You will coordinate with Sourcing, Procurement, Planning, Production, Shipping, and Finance teams, implementing digital visibility tools and KPI-driven improvements to minimize line stoppages and optimize

Responsibilities

• Inbound Logistics: Manage transport of fabrics, trims, accessories, packaging materials, and other raw materials from suppliers to Shahi factories.
• Inbound Logistics: Ensure timely deliveries to support production schedules and minimize line stoppages.
• Inbound Logistics: Coordinate with Sourcing, Procurement, Planning, and Production teams.
• Outbound Logistics: Oversee dispatch of finished goods from factories to forwarders, warehouses, ICDs/CFS, airports, seaports, and domestic customers.
• Outbound Logistics: Ensure adherence to shipment cut-offs and customer delivery commitments.
• Outbound Logistics: Optimize vehicle utilization and reduce transit lead times.
• Transport Operations: Lead pan-India transportation planning, fleet deployment, route optimization, and capacity management.
• Transport Operations: Develop contingency plans for peak season and emergency shipments.
• Transport Operations: Drive operational efficiency across all transport activities.
• Transport Vendor Management: Develop and manage transporter partnerships.
• Transport Vendor Management: Negotiate freight rates and service agreements.
• Transport Vendor Management: Monitor transporter performance through defined KPIs and SLAs.
