Job summary

CNX in Bengaluru (Bangalore) is seeking a Manager II, Content Development to lead a team of content developers and drive a comprehensive learning-content strategy aligned with business goals.

You will identify training needs, plan the content roadmap, collaborate with operations, quality, HR and clients, and ensure timely delivery using ADDIE, Bloom’s taxonomy, LMS, Articulate, Captivate, and other authoring tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience of leading a team of Content Developers, creating E-Learning / ILT / Video based learning.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience of developing content strategy collaborating to solve complex challenges.
• Extensive experience with instructional design models and adult learning principles.

ROLE: Content Development Manager
LOCATION: Bangalore/Gurgaon
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 8+ years

Role and Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a learning content strategy aligned with business and operational goals.
• Identify training needs based on process changes, client requirements, and performance data, TNA/TNIs
• Plan and manage the content development roadmap and deliver
• Collaborate with operations, quality, HR, and client teams to gather inputs and validate content.
• Ensure team productivity, skill development, and adherence to timelines.
• Oversee the creation of engaging, process-specific, and role-based learning content.
• Ensure use of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy) and adult learning principles.
• Promote the use of interactive formats like e-learning modules, simulations, videos, and job aids.
• Review and approve content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client and regulatory standards.
• Maintain version control and documentation of all learning materials.
• Ensure content is accessible and inclusive for diverse learner groups.
• Leverage Learning Management Systems (LMS) and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Vyond, Synthesia).
• Integrate AI, analytics, and gamification to enhance learner engagement and track effectiveness.
• Stay updated with emerging learning technologies and trends.
• Use Kirkpatrick’s model or similar frameworks to evaluate training effectiveness.
• Analyze learner feedback, performance metrics, and business outcomes to refine content.
• Drive a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Act as a point of contact for client regarding training content.

Present content strategies, updates, and impact reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and client expectations.

Key Skills and knowledge

• Minimum 8 years’ experience of leading a team of Content Developers, creating E-Learning /ILT / Video based learning
• Minimum 3 years’ experience of developing content strategy collaborating to solve complex challenges
• Experienced in creating constructive learning module for training needs.
• Evaluate, proofread, measure content effectiveness.
• Working knowledge of content authoring tools – Articulate, Captivate, etc, image and video creating and editing tools, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc and audio and voice over platforms
• Proficient in MS office and Google Suites,
• Knowledge of AI based content authoring tools
• Good understanding of LMS
• Able to front end client meeting via good presentations skills
• Understanding of SCORM, AICC, and xAPI standards for e-learning content.
• Basic understanding of HTML5/CSS will be beneficial.
