Job summary

Meinhardt EPCM (India) Private Limited seeks an experienced engineer to lead dust control and HVAC design for industrial projects. You will develop concepts through detailed designs, prepare datasheets and bid documents, and review vendor drawings to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The role requires hands-on calculations, adherence to standards, and collaboration with vendors and senior engineers. Willingness to travel to project sites and oversee execution is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in industrial projects such as minerals/metals, ports, power plants, food industries and manufacturing plants.
• Knowledge of industry/international standards and ability to interpret provisions; familiarity with applicable norms.
• Experience with duct control system and HVAC system design.
• Ability to perform design calculations for dust control and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concept to detailed design engineering, including design basis, calculations, datasheets, specifications and bid documents.
• Review vendor drawings and interact with vendors to finalize designs under guidance.
• Evaluate technical bids and prepare bid analysis reports with recommendations.
• Collect as-built information from site and update as-built drawings.
• Travel to project locations for technical interactions, site supervision, and handover.

Job description

• Shall have hands on experience in Industrial projects like Minerals and Metals, Ports, Power Plant, Food Industries and Manufacturing Plants.
• Shall have thorough knowledge of industry/international standards and ability to interpret the provisions for specific applications. Must be fully conversant with below standards and norms,
• Other industrial standards for Duct control system and HVAC system design.
• Responsible for all engineering activities related to Dust control system (extraction and suppression), shall be able to select applicable dust control system, prepare concept and finalized all related Engineering Deliverables to meet the project requirements with quality and given timeline
• Responsible for all engineering activities related to HVAC system, shall be able to select applicable HVAC system, prepare concept and finalized all related Engineering Deliverables to meet the project requirements with quality and given timeline
• Responsible for Design calculation manually (or) using tool for Dust control system and HVAC system
• Responsible for preparation of Concept to Detailed Design Engineering under the guidance of senior Engineer which includes Design Basis preparation, calculations, preparation of datasheets, specifications, develop bid documents with all supporting information
• Shall be able to review Vendor drawings and interact with Vendors in finalizing their design under the guidance of senior Engineer
• Shall be able to evaluate technical bids and prepare bid analysis report along with the technical recommendations under the guidance of senior Engineer
• Shall be able to collect As-built information from site as per final design and able to update the As-built drawings.
• Shall be ready to travel to project location as required for technical interaction, for collecting required information, Supervision of execution as per design, handover, etc.
• Shall be ready to travel for equipment inspection at Vendor location as per requirement
