Job summary

Corporate Hierarchy Solutions in Maharashtra, India is seeking an HR professional to manage payroll and industrial relations for a blue-collar workforce across the plant. You will oversee monthly payroll processing, joining formalities, inductions, recruitment drives, campus drives, and compliance initiatives.

The role requires coordinating with local authorities and handling employee grievances to maintain smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing for monthly payroll (M Staff, Operators, Apprentices, NETAP, and contract employees) and timely full & final settlements
• Address perks and business reimbursement queries and ensure timely F&F
• Manpower planning, recruitment, and induction of blue-collar staff with timely joining formalities
• Coordinate campus drives, job fairs, and other recruitment initiatives to fulfill manpower requirements
• Handle industrial relations tasks including LTS discussions, grievances (canteen, safety, Kaizen), and liaison with Labour & local authorities
• Plan and implement employee engagement activities to boost morale, recognition, and retention
• Drive HR projects like Worker Facilitation Center (WFC), NAPS/Apprenticeship, and compliance audits at plant level
• Coordinate functional and behavioral training programs to enhance skill, safety, and productivity

Job description

Payroll Management:

• To take care of Monthly Payroll processing for M Staff, Operators, Apprentices, NETAP, and Contract Employees.
• Process timely full and final settlement
• Also take care of queries pertaining Perks and Business Reimbursement and do the timely F&F.

Manpower Planning ,Recruitment & Induction of Blue Collar employees

• To understand the requirement of manpower and ensure the same fulfilled timely without hampering the production due to shortage of manpower
• To induct the new employee and complete the joining formalities timely
• To drive campus, job fairs and many other recruitment initiative to fulfill the manpower requirement.

Industrial Relations:

• To participate in LTS discussion for Permanent operators and Contract Employees
• To handle employee grievances pertaining to Canteen, Safety, Kaizen etc.
• To handle, consolidate and manage the legal/ court cases
• To coordinate with local authorities such as Labour Office, Office of Director of Industrial, Safety & Health (DISH), Gram Panchayat, Tahsildar office, Collector Office, Police Station etc.
• To handle operational issues of Permanent Operators & Contract employees with respect to Leave and Attendance, Salary & OT.

Employee Engagement:

• Plan and implement employee engagement activities to boost morale, motivation, and workplace culture.
• Drive recognition programs and reward mechanisms to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct employee feedback mechanisms (e.g., pulse surveys) and implement actionable outcomes.
• Collaborate with departments to organize events, welfare initiatives, and communication forums.

Workforce Development, Projects & Compliance Initiatives

• Drive and monitor key initiatives such as the Worker Facilitation Center (WFC), NAPS/Apprenticeship program, and support CSR-related audits and compliance at the plant level.
• Lead manufacturing-specific HR projects and actively contribute to corporate HR assignments and strategic initiatives.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement functional and behavioural training programs for blue-collar employees to enhance skill, safety, and productivity.
