Job summary

Insight Advisors Private Limited in Mumbai seeks a CA with 4+ years to lead the financial reporting function for a large manufacturing setup. You will manage month-end close, ensure IFRS/Ind AS compliant reporting, and provide insights to leadership.

You will drive process improvements, coordinate audits (J-SOX/internal controls), mentor the team, and partner with SAP and analytics to improve reporting quality.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with 4+ years of experience in financial reporting.
• Experience in Ind AS and IFRS reporting.
• Experience in manufacturing environment desirable.
• Strong MS Excel and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of internal controls and audit coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end closing, reviewing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow per Ind AS and IFRS.
• Provide monthly financial analysis, variances, and business insights to finance leadership.
• Lead Balance Sheet reviews and ensure GL hygiene and reporting quality.
• Drive reporting process improvements, automation and transformation.
• Ensure compliance with J-SOX and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits.
• Stay updated on Ind AS, Income Tax, Companies Act and regulatory changes.
• Mentor team members and support their development.
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS.
• Excellent financial reporting and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting.

Overview / Job Purpose / About the Company:

Lead the financial reporting function for a large manufacturing organization with operations across two manufacturing facilities. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, providing meaningful financial insights to leadership, managing complex accounting areas, supporting audits, ensuring internal control compliance, and driving process transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including review of journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement in accordance with Ind AS and IFRS .
• Provide monthly financial analysis, variance analysis and business insights to finance leadership.
• Lead detailed Balance Sheet reviews and ensure strong GL hygiene and financial reporting quality .
• Drive financial reporting process improvements, automation and transformation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with J-SOX and Internal Controls over Financial Reporting .
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for timely completion of audits.
• Stay updated on Ind AS, Income Tax, Companies Act and other regulatory requirements.
