Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Finance & Accounts with strong expertise in Accounts Receivables, collections, reconciliation, digital payments, and credit control.

The ideal candidate should have experience managing AR operations in a high-volume, technology-driven environment, preferably within E-commerce or Fintech. The role will involve leveraging AI, automation, analytics, and BI tools to improve collections, reduce overdue receivables, strengthen controls, and optimize cash flow.

The candidate will also be responsible for leading and developing the AR team, driving process improvements, and partnering with Technology, Sales, Operations, and other stakeholders to resolve business and payment-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivables lifecycle, including invoicing, collections, reconciliation, refunds, and closure.
• Monitor AR aging, overdue receivables, DSO, and collection performance and take corrective actions to improve cash flow.
• Drive AI-based collections, predictive analytics, and risk analysis to prioritize collection efforts and identify potential credit risks.
• Manage reconciliation of transactions across payment gateways, wallets, aggregators, banks, and ERP systems.
• Handle digital payment operations, including payment settlements, refunds, chargebacks, disputes, and exception management.
• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation between sales, payment platforms, banks, and accounting/ERP records.
• Develop and maintain MIS dashboards and analytics using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Identify opportunities to implement RPA, AI, automation, and process digitization to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Establish strong controls to improve reconciliation accuracy, collection efficiency, and financial reporting.
• Work closely with Technology, Sales, Operations, Customer Support, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve payment, billing, and reconciliation issues.
• Prepare actionable MIS, management reports, and performance dashboards for senior management.
• Lead, mentor, and upskill the Accounts Receivables team, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and achievement of team KPIs.
• Drive continuous process improvement and standardization across AR operations.

Requirements

• 9+ years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, with strong exposure to Accounts Receivables / Collections / Reconciliation.
• 2–3+ years of proven team leadership/people management experience is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of AR, credit control, collections, reconciliation, refunds, chargebacks, and payment settlements.
• Experience working with ERP systems and digital payment ecosystems.
• Prior experience in E-commerce or Fintech is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on exposure to AI tools, RPA, automation, predictive analytics, or data-driven finance solutions.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, dashboards, and complex formulas.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI/analytics tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, technology-led environment.
• Strong ownership, attention to detail, and focus on reconciliation accuracy and process controls.
• Should be comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity, analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
