Job summary

Pine Labs in Bengaluru invites an experienced Business Finance professional to lead AR, collections and business partnering, guiding a team of 4–5 finance specialists. You will drive receivables, monitor ageing, and provide insights to sales and finance to improve cash flow.

This role collaborates with Sales and Business teams, delivering MIS and monthly close, and supporting audits while ensuring GST and TDS compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Business Finance, AR/Receivables or similar.
• Hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable and collections.

• Experience in client-wise profitability analysis and MIS.
• Strong knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Experience leading a team of 4–5 members.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with Oracle would be an added advantage.

Role Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Business Finance professional with strong expertise in Accounts Receivable, Collections and business partnering, along with experience in managing and mentoring a team of 4–5+ members.

The role will work closely with Sales, Business and Finance teams to drive receivables, improve collections, monitor client profitability and provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities we entrust you with

• Lead and manage a team of 4–5+ finance professionals, providing coaching, guidance and performance management.
• Own Accounts Receivable and collections, including monitoring AR ageing and driving timely resolution of outstanding receivables.
• Partner closely with the Sales / Business teams to improve collections and resolve client-level payment issues.
• Track and analyse client-wise profitability and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
• Drive Business Finance and MIS, providing regular financial and business performance reports.
• Lead month-end closing and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely closure.
• Analyse revenue, receivables, collections and other key business metrics to identify trends and risks.
• Support audits and ensure timely closure of audit requirements.
• Ensure adherence to applicable accounting, GST and TDS requirements.
• Prepare financial presentations and business reviews using PowerPoint.
• Identify opportunities to improve AR processes, controls and collection efficiency.

What matters in this role

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Business Finance, AR / Receivables, Commercial Finance or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections.
• Prior experience working closely with Sales / Business teams.
• Experience in client-wise profitability analysis and MIS.
• Strong understanding of accounting, month-end closure and reconciliations.
• Good knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Prior experience in team management, managing 4–5+ members.
• Strong proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Macros is an added advantage.
• Good PowerPoint and presentation skills.
• Experience with Oracle would be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate would be someone with a strong AR / Collections foundation who has moved into or has significant exposure to Business Finance, rather than a pure FP&A professional.

Experience in Fintech, Payments, BFSI, NBFC or other high-volume transaction businesses would be preferred.
