Pine Labs in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Manager / Associate Director – Finance to join the Credit+ business. This end-to-end finance role focuses on financial reporting, controllership, and accounting, with exposure to FP&A and business finance.

You will work with senior leadership to ensure robust reporting, strong controls, and actionable insights to guide business decisions in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

  • CA with 5–6 years post-qualification experience in finance and accounting.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Financial Reporting and Controllership.
  • Proficient with Ind AS and IFRS and month-end/year-end closures.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Ability to coordinate with auditors and drive robust financial controls.

Responsibilities

  • Own monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and closure for the business.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Drive accounting and reporting in accordance with Ind AS and IFRS.
  • Coordinate with auditors and support statutory, internal and other audits.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Collections and reconciliations.

Role Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Manager / Associate Director – Finance to join our Credit+ business in Bangalore.

This is an end-to-end finance role with a strong focus on Financial Reporting, Controllership and Accounting, along with exposure to FP&A and Business Finance.

The role will work closely with business and senior leadership teams to ensure robust financial reporting, strong controls and provide meaningful financial insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities we entrust you with
  • Own and drive monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and closure for the business.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Drive accounting and reporting in accordance with Ind AS and IFRS.
  • Ensure appropriate accounting treatment for complex and business-specific transactions.
  • Coordinate with auditors and support statutory, internal and other audits.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, policies and regulatory requirements.
2. Controllership
  • Oversee key controllership functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Collections and reconciliations.
  • Strengthen financial controls and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Drive timely closure of books and resolution of accounting issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation and stronger financial controls.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve working capital and financial discipline.
3. FP&A & Business Finance
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
  • Prepare and analyse MIS, variance analysis and financial performance reports.
  • Partner with business teams to understand key financial drivers and provide actionable insights.
  • Support leadership in evaluating business performance, profitability and cost trends.
  • Contribute to financial modelling and scenario analysis for key business initiatives.
4. Business Partnering
  • Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders on financial and business matters.
  • Translate financial data into meaningful insights to support business decisions.
  • Drive strong financial governance while maintaining a business-oriented approach.
  • Participate in strategic finance projects and initiatives for the Credit+ business.
What matters in this role
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5–6 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Financial Reporting and Controllership.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience of Ind AS and IFRS.
  • Experience across month-end/year-end closure, financial statements, accounting and audit.
  • Good understanding of AR, AP, Collections and reconciliations.
  • Exposure to FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and business partnering skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred Background

Candidates from Fintech, Payments, BFSI, Financial Services or other high-growth businesses would be preferred.

The ideal candidate is not a pure FP&A profile. We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in Financial Reporting + Controllership + Ind AS/IFRS, along with some exposure to FP&A / Business Finance.
