Job summary

Sandoz India in Telangana seeks an experienced analytics professional to drive field excellence through insights and data-driven decision making. You will support Sandoz Field Force worldwide with techno-functional expertise in sales operations and strategy.

The role involves designing KPI dashboards, ETL workflows, and reporting using SQL, Alteryx, Databricks, Power BI, and Python. You will mentor teammates, document SOPs, and contribute to knowledge repositories.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytics experience in an analytics based organization or pharmaceutical/pharma services domain.
• Understanding of Pharmaceutical business and regulatory environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering analytics and insights for field excellence or data-enabled solutions.
• Experience in an international company with cross-cultural exposure.
• Customer service oriented and capable of consultative solution delivery.
• Strong focus on business results and ability to provide insights that drive productivity.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver customer requirements per SLAs with timeliness, accuracy and quality.
• Design and track Field Force Execution KPI and Field Performance metrics.
• Develop technology-based solutions for field excellence using SQL, Alteryx, Databricks, Power BI, and related tools.
• Deliver services with structured project management and maintain documentation throughout delivery.
• Mentor team members on functional, technical, and stakeholder engagement aspects.
• Create and maintain SOPs and quality checklists for output quality.
• Develop knowledge repositories capturing field excellence trends and insights across markets.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new associates and share knowledge across sessions.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and clients with regular updates on KPIs, best practices, and staffing changes.

Position Purpose

• The team provides analytics and insights that drive field excellence Sandoz Field Force worldwide.
• Facilitate insights enabled decision making and execution for Sandoz internal customers by providing techno-functional expertise in short-term and long-term sales operations and strategy.
• Contribute to broader teams by involving in various initiatives like knowledge sharing, on- boarding and training support.
• Enable standardization of processed through building process documentation and timely maintenance of knowledge repositories.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver below customer requirements as per agreed SLAs (timeliness, accuracy, quality, etc) and drive excellent customer service
  • Field Force Execution KPI design and tracking
  • Field Performance excellence (processing granular performance data to be used in variety of process within SFE and Incentives)
• Designs and/or maintains various technology based solutions that optimizes field excellence activities based on country commercial excellence needs through varied variety of evolving infrastructure landscape including but not limited to
  • Data ETL platforms (SQL, Alteryx, Databricks, etc.)
  • Workflow management and automation tools (viz Sharepoint, MS PowerApps, RPA, etc)
  • Analytical platforms and methods (viz Excel, R, Python, Data Science, Machine learning)
  • AI tools for next gen, complex and automated data processing (Genie, Co-pilot, etc.)
  • Reporting and visualization platforms (viz PowerBI, Qlik, etc.)
• Deliver services through structured project management approach with appropriate documentation and communication throughout the delivery of services
• Oversee and mentor other team members on functional, technical, project management and stakeholder engagement
• Creates and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality checklists that will enable excellent quality outputs for all outputs within the function
• Develops and maintains knowledge repositories that captures qualitative and quantitative reports of field excellence related trends across Sandoz operating markets, etc
• Support team leaders in recruitment and on-boarding of new associates within the organization
• Participate and contribute in various knowledge sharing sessions that enables growth and improves quality deliverables across the function
• Ensures exemplary communication with all stakeholders including internal associates, and clients through regular updates with focus on accomplishments, KPIs, best practices, staffing changes and key events

Essential Requirements

• Experience (5+ years) in analytics based organization or pharmaceutical company or Pharma services domain
• Should have an understanding of Pharmaceutical business including its regulatory environment
• Strong analytical thinking with problem solving approach
• Proven track record of delivery analytics and insights for field excellence and/or data enable solutions
• Should have worked in an international company with exposure to working in cross-cultural environment
• Should be customer service oriented and consultative solution delivery
• Strong and proactive business results-focus, and proven ability to provide insights that increase productivity
