Job summary

GIFT City, Gandhinagar, seeks an Electrical Infrastructure Engineer on a 3-year contract to oversee design reviews, tendering, and execution of 33KV substations and city power distribution networks. Responsibilities

• Prepare work progress reports, review presentations and survey reports.
• Coordinate with other departments during infrastructure project implementations

Job description

Objective of Role

To manage and oversee the design, tendering, execution, and implementation of electrical infrastructure projects, including 33KV substations, power distribution networks, utility plants, and street lighting works.

To ensure timely and efficient project execution through effective coordination, technical review, documentation, and compliance with approved designs and standards.

Position type

-on contract for a period 3 years from the date of joining, extendable based on organization needs and candidates performance.

Pay Band

• Commensurate with qualifications and experience. (in the pay-scale of Rs.44,900-142,400)

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronic Engineering

• Minimum 7 years experience in relevant field.

Role Descriptions

• Review of electrical designs, calculations and drawings related to 33KV substation projects, city level power distribution system, high rise building electrical works and street lighting works.
• Execution of 33KV substation projects, power distribution networks and electrical works of various utility plants, as per drawings, with high efficiency.
• Handling of tender works related to electrical infrastructure projects from conceptual stage till award of works.
• Preparation of work progress report, review presentations and survey reports
• Co-ordination with other departments during implementation of infrastructure projects.

Competencies Required

• Should have minimum 7 years of work experience in design review, and execution of 33KV substation projects, power distribution networks and electrical works for the various utility plants, as per approved drawings with high efficiency.
• Should be expertise in handling tenders related to electrical infrastructure works from conceptual stage till award of works.
• Should have expertise in understanding the Single line drawings, ETAP calculations, Vendor General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
• Should have good communication and co-ordination skills.
• Should have good knowledge of using MS office tools, Auto CAD and SAP.Managing project (opex) related documentation.
