ABGELEC in South India is seeking a qualified Project Manager for Electrical Substation Construction and Transmission Line projects. You will oversee end-to-end execution, lead engineers, contractors, and site staff, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory norms.

The role requires a B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and 10–15 years of relevant experience. Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills are essential to manage stakeholders and deliver high-value power

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end execution of electrical substation and transmission line construction projects.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor project activities to ensure on-time completion within defined budget and quality standards.
• Lead and manage project teams including engineers, contractors, and site staff.
• Review technical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement, vendors, and consultants for timely availability of materials and services.
• Maintain close interaction with clients, consultants, and government authorities for approvals, inspections, and reporting.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, statutory, and regulatory norms at the project site.
• Track project milestones, prepare progress reports, and present updates to senior management.
• Manage risks, resolve site-level issues, and take corrective measures to ensure project continuity.
• Strong knowledge of electrical substation construction, transmission line works, and related standards.
• Proven experience in project planning, execution, and resource management.
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English, Hindi, and regional language.
• Leadership and team management capabilities.
• Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with project management tools and MS Office applications.
• Previously worked for the capacity of 220 kv to 400 kv substations.
