Job summary

Adani Natural Resources invites an ERC Engineer – Electrical & Instrumentation to support electrical systems design and implementation for its projects. The role involves equipment selection, technical document preparation, vendor coordination, and ensuring standards compliance to deliver efficient solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 10–15 years of experience in electrical engineering, familiarity with ETAP, and strong documentation skills to support project execution across multiple sites.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
Work Experience (Range Of Years): 10 to 15 years.

Responsibilities

Select electrical equipment based on process requirements, P&ID, and tender documents.
Prepare detailed electrical documents, including load lists, MCC sizing, SLD, cable sizing, transformer sizing, capacitor sizing, DG sizing, substation sizing, and cable schedules.
Prepare, review and submit drawings for client/consultant approval (earthing layouts, MCC room layouts, cable routes, SLDs, GA layouts).
Prepare BOQ and cost estimations for electrical systems of the plant.
Participate in vendor scope definitions and bid evaluations for compliance with specs.
Ensure HV switchyards up to 66/132/220kV meet applicable standards.
Use ETAP for one-line diagrams and perform short-circuit and load-flow analyses.
Coordinate with departments and update on progress and technical innovations.

Job Purpose: The ERC Engineer – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) supports the ERC Lead – Electrical in managing electrical systems design and implementation for various projects. This role involves assisting in preparing/reviewing electrical equipment selection, preparation of technical documents, vendor coordination, and ensuring compliance with industry standards to deliver efficient project solutions.

Responsibilities

Electrical Equipment Selection And Specification

Select electrical equipment based on process requirements, P&ID, and tender documents.
Contribute to scrutinizing the scope of work for electrical components to ensure project alignment.

Preparation Of Electrical Documentation

Prepare detailed electrical documents, including Electrical Load Lists, MCC Sizing, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Cable Sizing, Transformer Sizing, Capacitor Sizing, DG Set Sizing, Substation Sizing, and Cable Schedules.
Develop electrical equipment datasheets for transformers, HT and LT panels, UPS, LCS, cables, and cable trays.

Drawing Preparation, Review, And Submission

Preparing, reviewing, and submitting drawings for client/consultant approval, such as earthing layouts, MCC room layouts, cable route layouts, SLDs, and equipment GA layouts.

BOQ And Cost Estimation

Prepare the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimations for the electrical systems of the entire plant.

Vendor Coordination And Technical Evaluation

Participate in preparing detailed vendor scopes and material requisitions as per tender requirements.
Conduct technical evaluations of bids received from vendors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Contribute to ensuring that the design and specifications of high voltage switchyards (AIS) up to 66/132/220kV meet applicable standards and regulations.

Technical Tools And Analysis

Familiarize with ETAP software for creating single-line diagrams as per ANSI/IEC standards.
Support in performing short circuit and load flow analyses to optimize electrical system designs.

Interface And Coordination

Maintain effective communication and coordination with other departments to ensure project requirements are met.
Assist in updating the team manager on project progress, technical innovations, and emerging trends in electrical engineering.
