Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd is seeking a candidate to support the operation of ZLD systems (ETP, RO, MEE, ATFD) at our sites in Mumbai. You will contribute to process safety, industrial hygiene, and sustainability initiatives to drive safer and greener operations.

The role requires educational qualifications in Industrial Safety (MSc/BTech/Diploma) and a proactive, collaborative approach to improving safety performance across Sun Pharma facilities.

Qualifications

• MSc / B.Tech / Diploma in Industrial Safety required.
• Experience in EHS processes and safety program implementation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting sites in the smooth operation of ZLD systems including ETP, RO, MEE, and ATFD.
• Supporting sites in continuous safety improvement programs focusing on Process Safety and Industrial Hygiene.
• Supporting sites in implementing sustainability initiatives such as water conservation, energy reduction, and waste minimization.
• Performing site assurance assessments per EHS KPI’s.
• Scheduling monthly EHS meetings to review progress.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting sites in the smooth operation of Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems, including ETP, Reverse Osmosis (RO), Multi-Effect Evaporators (MEE), and Agitated Thin Film Dryers (ATFD).
• Supporting sites in continuous safety improvement programs, with a focus on Process Safety and Industrial Hygiene.
• Supporting sites in implementing sustainability initiatives, including water conservation, energy reduction, and waste minimization.
• Performing site assurance assessments as per EHS KPI’s
• Scheduling monthly EHS meetings to review the progress.
