Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd is seeking a Manager Engineering to lead maintenance, calibration and process equipment care in a manufacturing setting. You will ensure cGMP compliance, schedule manpower, and oversee SAP work orders for process equipment.

With 12-16 years of experience and a B.Tech/M.Tech background, you will drive safe, efficient plant operations and collaborate across teams to uphold quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• B.Tech or M.Tech degree in engineering.
• Experience in a senior engineering role (12-16 years).
• Knowledge of cGMP and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cGMP and safety compliance for plant operations.
• Maintain process, HVAC and water systems per SOP.
• Schedule manpower and ensure smooth plant operation.
• Identify critical spares and manage procurement/inventory.
• Review preventive maintenance records regularly.
• Analyze breakdowns and plan short/long-term actions.
• Ensure calibration/PM of equipment, water system, HVAC.
• Assist validation team with periodic equipment validation.
• Coordinate AMC services such as UPS.
• Review SAP work orders for process equipment.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by Manager/HOD.
• Participate in audits and maintain compliance records.

Key responsibilities:

• To ensure compliance to cGMP and Safety regulations.
• To ensure compliance to maintenance of process/ HVAC/Water system Equipment as per SOP
• To ensure smooth plant operation and manpower scheduling.
• To identify critical spares, procurement and its inventory.
• To review preventive maintenance records.
• Periodic review of breakdowns and its short term and long term plans.
• To ensure compliance of calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment’s, water system and HVAC etc.
• Support to validation team for periodic validation of process equipment’s.
• Follow up for AMC services like UPS.
• Review and maintain SAP work order to Process equipment's.
• Any other job assigned by Reporting Manager/HOD from time to time.
• Participation in all audits and responsible for compliance and response to records of process equipment’s.
