Job summary

Italia Group in Gujarat, India, is seeking a warehouse and dispatch professional to manage warehouse operations, from receiving to dispatch, and to oversee inventory accuracy. The role involves coordinating with Production and Marketing for despatch planning, monitoring dispatches against sales orders, and handling export-related activities including palletization and export certification.

The candidate will liaise with transporters and packing labor contractors, prepare required shipping

Qualifications

• Must have experience in ceramic (tile) industry with dispatch and warehouse exposure.
• Ability to coordinate with production and marketing teams for dispatch planning.
• Experience in planning, monitoring, and executing dispatches against sales orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse operations including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory control.
• Coordinate with production and marketing to streamline despatch planning.
• Plan and monitor dispatches per sales orders.
• Handle export dispatch, palletization, and export inspection/certification.
• Interface with transporters, loading contractors, and packing labor contractors.
• Prepare invoices, E-way bills, and pre-shipment export packing lists.
• Maintain records of inventory, pending sales orders, production, and dispatches in software.
• Manage stocks of promotional items and sampling activities.
• Collaborate with production and domestic/export marketing teams for smooth processes.

Job description

• Managing warehouse operations, includingreceiving, storage, dispatch, inventory control, and stock accuracy.


• Coordinating with both the Production andMarketing teams to streamline both production despatch planning.


• Planning and monitoring dispatches in accordancewith executed sales orders.


• Export Dispatch, Monitoring palletization, aswell as managing goods inspection and certification for export


• Handling interactions with transporters, loadingcontractors, and packing labor contractors


• Preparing invoices, E-way bills, andpre-shipment export packing lists.


• Keeping updated records of the inventory list,pending sales order status, pending production, and pending dispatches in thesoftware.


• Maintaining promotional item stocks andsampling work.


• Working closely with the production team as wellas the domestic and export marketing teams for smooth process
