Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Mumbai seeks a Senior Sustainability Manager to lead decarbonization and ESG programs across operations. You will develop strategies, measure emissions, and drive energy efficiency with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of GHG protocols, reporting standards, and stakeholder engagement to deliver impact and regulatory compliance. Experience with LCA, CDP, GRI, and ISO standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in sustainability program development and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GHG accounting and emission scopes.
• Experience with ESG frameworks (GRI, CDP, TCFD, ISO standards).
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with life cycle assessment (LCA) and materiality assessments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute decarbonization and sustainability strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Measure, monitor, and report Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions.
• Identify and implement carbon reduction, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and resource optimization initiatives.
• Lead ESG reporting and ensure compliance with standards.
• Conduct carbon footprint assessments, lifecycle assessments (LCA), and climate risk analyses.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to implement sustainability projects.
• Monitor sustainability KPIs and prepare reports for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws and corporate policies.
• Support green building, circular economy, waste reduction, water conservation, and biodiversity initiatives.
• Engage with customers, suppliers, regulators on sustainability programs.
• Identify opportunities for carbon credits and green financing.
• Conduct sustainability awareness programs and employee engagement initiatives.
• Stay updated on ESG regulations and industry best practices.
