Job description

This role will drive the organization’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, initiatives, and reporting to support long-term sustainability goals. It will involve collaboration across departments, implementing best practices, managing sustainability projects, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ESG Strategy Implementation:
   Support the development and execution of ESG strategies aligned with corporate goals.
   Monitor ESG performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
2. Sustainability Initiatives:
   Lead sustainability projects such as renewable energy adoption, waste reduction, water conservation, and carbon footprint reduction.
   Collaborate with internal teams to embed sustainability into business operations and supply chain processes.
3. Compliance and Governance:
   Ensure compliance with local and international ESG regulations and standards.
   Support audits and assessments related to ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant certifications.
4. ESG Reporting and Disclosure:
   Prepare ESG reports, including disclosures aligned with frameworks such as GRI, CDP, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, BRSR or UN SDGs.
   Coordinate data collection for emissions, waste, water, and other ESG metrics from internal and external stakeholders.
   Knowledge of GHG accounting and handling 3rd party assurance audits.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
   Engage with investors, clients, and other stakeholders on ESG-related matters.
   Organize training sessions for employees to raise awareness of ESG initiatives.
   Planning and execution of EHS special days to raise employee awareness and engagement.
6. Innovation and Best Practices:
   Identify innovative solutions and benchmark industry best practices to enhance sustainability efforts.
   Stay updated on emerging trends in ESG and climate-related risks.
7. Team Collaboration:
   Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Operations, Finance, and Procurement, to achieve sustainability goals.
   Support the preparation of proposals for sustainability-focused partnerships or projects.
